The Brightlands Summer Tour is especially suited for High School pupils in the highest classes with mathematics and sciences in their programme (NT/NG profile in the Dutch education system) and Belgian and German students.
Applications are accepted from the following territories (based on citizenship): Belgium, Germany, Netherlands.

Workshops in carousel form; advance registration is possible at various locations in the building.
Workshop 1: Data visualisation in the lab; work with VR/hololens yourself
Workshop 2: Robotics, Accenture in the nanolab
Workshop 3: Business intelligence (Inergy, Jim Bemelen)
Workshop 4: Experience how Blockchain works. Various demos between energy and blockchain. Try it yourself in VR room on the 4th floor. Placing a scooter run by solar energy on the blockchain (Dean Masley and Nathalie Drost, Nestegg)
Workshop 5: Artificial Intelligence. (Assistant Professor Rico Mökel, DKE)

Break, lunch in restaurant Verde

Mini-hackathon (challenges on the above subjects), battle of the teams

Pitching of the ideas, winning team may further develop idea at the campus

Wrap-up + award ceremony + closing in the forum + awarding certificates
